If you're planning to take a trip or transport something to the United Kingdom, a Belgian identity card alone is no longer sufficient. This also applies to lorry drivers. Since 1 October, an international passport has been required to enter the UK. If you are a driver, apply for your passport at the municipal authority where you live.
